Q: Can a car insurance company who represents the driver of the car who hit me deny payment for chiropractic care for a whiplash injury, when they have accepted total liability on the part of their client in an auto accident? They claim chiropractors are not real doctors and refuse to pay.

A: Insurance companies in Virginia personal injury cases often nickle and dime claimants, in an effort to save money.  It is not often, however, that they are so blatant about denying claims for chiropractic care.
