What do I do?
The answer to this question depends on which insurance adjuster is calling you. If it is an adjuster from your own insurance company you are generally required to cooperate with them and answer their questions.
On the other hand you are under no duty to cooperate with an adjuster who is calling you on behalf of the person who caused the accident. You should always be polite but do not be pressured by their insistence that they will “close the claim” or otherwise interfere with your ability to obtain compensation for your injuries.
